Assistant Principal Introduction
Dear Colonel Walker School Community,
My name is Deborah Blayways and I will be joining Colonel Walker as the new assistant principal. I am very excited to be joining your school. I have been working with the Calgary Board of Education for twenty years and have served as teacher, learning leader, specialist and assistant principal.
I am the mother to three children who are currently attending Calgary Board of Education schools. I also have two dogs whom I walk each morning before school.
I love learning alongside students, staff and parents and am looking forward to getting to know everyone. When you see me, introduce yourself!
I am eager to learn all about Colonel Walker!

Lost and Found
Once again our Lost and Found collection is overflowing. Please stop by before the end of this week to make sure you’re not missing anything. We plan to donate all left behind items very soon.

- Thursday May 15: School Resource Officer visit to classrooms (K-6)
- Friday May 16: PD Day (no classes for students)
- Monday May 19: Victoria Day (school closed)
- Thursday May 22: School Council Meeting (6pm)- link will be shared that day
