Next Year Planning

Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey (less than a minute) indicating your plans for the 2025-26 school year. This information helps us to make informed decisions as we move into intentional planning for the upcoming school year.

Conferences

Our Spring Learning Conferences will take place on Thursday March 20 from 4:30pm – 8:00pm, and Friday March 21, 8:30am – 1:30pm.  Due to the ongoing CUPE 40 strike, schools have been directed to ensure conferences take place online through Microsoft Teams (a link will be emailed to you when you register).  The Conference Manager opened for parent bookings on Tuesday March 11 at 4:00pm and will close on Tuesday March 18 at 11:45pm through your MyCBE account.

Lost and Found

Normally we would have the lost and found on display for the Parent-Teacher Conferences, but since they are online we have set it up outside the main office.  If you are dropping off or picking up at the school, or even just driving by please stop by and check it out.  All items will be donated at Spring Break.

Clubs

There are a number of clubs being offered at this time: Pride Club (grades 4-6 on Thursdays at lunch with Ms. Reid), Choir (grades 1-6 Wednesdays at lunch with Mrs. Blackman and Ms. Stanton), Chess Club (grades 1-3 on Tuesdays/grades 4-6 on Thursdays at lunch with Mr. K), and Student Council (monthly on Tuesdays at lunch with Mrs. Clowes, Ms. Jones and Ms. Drinkwater). Upcoming clubs include: Math Club (grades 4-6 on Mondays and/or Thursdays at lunch starting next week with Ms. Drinkwater) and Art Club (grades 1 and 2 on Mondays starting after Spring Break with Mrs. Sherren and Ms. Leigh). If your child is staying for clubs at lunch and usually attends hot lunch, please let CWP know and send a lunch to school with your child on those days.

March 20:          Grades 4, 5 and 6 field trip to Heritage Park

March 20:          Conferences (4:30- 8:00pm via Microsoft Teams)

March 21:          Conferences (8:30- 1:30pm via Microsoft Teams- NO SCHOOL for students)

March 24- 28:  Spring Break

March 31:          Classes resume after Spring Break
