Dear Friends and Families of Colonel Walker School,

This morning our students did a fantastic job in their family groups learning about the history of Pink Shirt Day. They worked together to explore what each individual can do to make our school community safe, welcoming, caring, respectful and free from bullying. Student leaders in grades 4, 5 and 6 also did a fabulous job leading an assembly to kick off our Jump Rope for Heart campaign.  A huge thank you to Mrs. Clowes for her leadership prepare staff and students for our Pink Shirt Day learning together and assembly.

Please see below for a couple of important updates:

School Council Meeting

Dress for the Weather

As it warms up outside, please remember to dress for the weather! If you know your child loves to jump in puddles or play soccer even when it’s muddy, consider sending a change of clothes in your student’s backpack. This will prevent unnecessary calls when students come in from recess dripping wet.
